Insurance(ESI) is a self-financing social security and health insurance scheme
for Indian workers.it offers an economic & medical assurance to workers and
its dependents. Besides providing medical benefits to workers and its
dependents it also insures worker from temporary or permanent disablement and
sickness.
ESI Registration is
mandatory for employers having 10 or more employees. For all employees earning Rs.15,000
or less per month as wages, (From 2013 this ceiling is increased to Rs. 25000/-).This
compulsory insurance also helps employers to cover up their contingent
liability of treatment and medical expenses, which may be incurred if any
accident is happened at the business premises or factory.
EPF Registration
Employees'
Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 is social security
legislation for the future benefit of employees & their dependents; in case
of unfortunate incidents occurring in the future. Every establishment which is
a factory engaged in any industry in which 20 or more people are employed.
EPF Registration has to be done within One

Food Business Operator License
A Food Business
Operator License is a license granted by the Food Safety and Standards
Authority of India that The Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 has made it
mandatory for entities involved in the activities related to the entity to
carry on activities related to any stage of manufacturing, processing,
packaging, storage, transportation, distribution of food, import and includes
food services, catering services, sale of food or food ingredients.
Application to
commence a food business must be made to the FSSAI license requires Online
registration on FSSAI website and submit document file prepared according to
licensing requirements as per Central/ State licensing/registration
requirements. The application for Food Business Operator License in the
prescribed format along with supporting documents, based on the application and
supporting documents, FSSAI will accord approval. The list of documents
required for conversion of license, whereas for new license application there
are 18 to 24 types of documents to be attached to apply.
Import and Export Code

Exporters must mention their Import Export Code while clearing customs when
their goods arrive in India. All exporters must mention their IE Code while exporting

Establishment registration is a state based labor license legislation enacted
the respective state in which the shop or establishment set-up, this will helps
the State Government to regulate employment work conditions by prescribing
payment of wages, opening and closing hours of the shop/establishment and to
provide for statutory obligations of the employers with rights of the employees
in un-organized sector of employment and to provide minimum benefits and relief
to unorganized sector employees. Which is essentially the welfare of the
employees in the unorganized sector. This is issued per premises and does not
have a centralized registration concept. The Shops & Establishments Act
registration is applicable, if you are opening a shop or commercial
establishment in the respective state. Now you can register your business in Karnataka
under Karnataka Shop & Establishment Act 1954. All commercial
shop/establishments are compulsorily required to register itself under this Act
with the Karnataka Government’s Labour department within 30 days of

Form 15CB, 15CA Certificate
As per CBDT prescribing Form 15CA and Form
15CB to be filed in relation to remittances to non-residents under section
195(6), which requires the person responsible for making payment to a
non-resident to furnish information relating to such payments. Currently,
remittances to non-residents are allowed by banks if the person making the
remittance furnishes an undertaking, accompanied by a certificate from a Chartered
Accountant (“CA”) certifying the rate for withholding tax as per section 195 of
the Act.
Karnataka VAT (KVAT) Registration
Karnataka VAT Registration is mandatory for
dealers in Karnataka having a turnover of over Rs.10 lakhs in the current
financial year or those dealers involved in the sale or manufacturing of goods
originating from outside the state. Also, any person who is a dealer or intends
to be a dealer may also obtain VAT Registration voluntarily.
For becoming a registered Dealer/Trader, first
they have to apply for obtaining registration number or TIN number to the State
Government (SG) with the required prescribed list of documents then after they
are eligible to collected or charge Sales Tax or VAT from their
customer/consumer. After Karnataka VAT Registration approval, the tax
department will issue a Tax Identification Number (TIN Number), which can be
used for all communication pertaining to the VAT Registration.
Tax Account Number (TAN) Registration
TAN or Tax Deduction and Collection Account
Number is a 10-digit alpha numeric number required to be obtained by all
persons who are responsible for deducting or collecting tax, TAN no is a must
before anyone can proceed for Tax deduction or payment. It is compulsory to
quote TAN in TDS/TCS return (including any e-TDS/TCS return), any TDS/TCS
payment challan and TDS/TCS certificates.
TAN number is a specific number allotted for
Deduction/ Collection of TDS and payment of same into Govt A/c by a person, who
is making payment in relation to a business purpose / transaction. The TAN No
provides a unique Identification to Tax Deductor / Collector and help in the
tracking of transactions, like payment of taxes and return filing.

Service Tax Registration
Service tax is an indirect tax levied on the
services provided by a service provider in India. Service tax is paid by the

Permanent Account Number (PAN)
Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit
alphanumeric number issued by the income tax department of Government of India
to both individuals and businesses in the form of a laminated card. A typical

Trademark Registration
